When Can I Visit?
Many patients look forward to receiving visitors. We welcome you at our facilities from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. with the following restrictions:
Beginnings Maternity Center
Visiting hours are at the patient's discretion, but no more than two visitors at a time are allowed after 8 p.m. All visitors must first stop at the nurses station.
Isolation Rooms (All Care Units)
Visitors must be at least 14 years of age to visit.
Medical Intensive Care Unit & Surgical Intensive Care Unit
Visitors are allowed from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and from 4:30 to 8 p.m. Visitors must be at least 14 years of age. We recommend brief visits. Critical care patients may have no more than two visitors at a time. Visitors must obtain a visitor badge from the Guest Services staff in the 5th Avenue Lobby before proceeding to the Intensive Care Unit.
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
Parents and grandparents may visit at any time, with other visitors welcome between 1 and 8 p.m. All visitors must be accompanied by one of the infant’s parents. No more than two visitors are permitted at a time. Children must be 12 years of age or older to visit.
Parents may visit at any time, and have a live-in option. Other adult visitors and siblings may visit from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Post Anesthesia Care Unit
No more than two visitors are permitted at a time. Adult overnight patients may receive visitors from 7:30 to 8 p.m. Patients under the age of 12 can be accompanied by one parent only with no time limit. Visits to special needs patients are at the nurse’s discretion.
Reading Health Rehabilitation Hospital
There is a limit of two visitors per patient in a room. Children are welcome, but must be accompanied by an adult. To avoid interruption of therapy sessions, visitors should call ahead to check the patient’s therapy schedule. Therapy schedules are posted by 5 p.m. each day for the following day.
Visitors are welcome daily from 6-7 p.m. In addition, visitors may see patient on weekdays from 12:30-1 p.m. and weekends from 12-1 p.m.
