Madzura Appointed Nurse Manager of the N3W Patient Care Unit

Tabitha Madzura is the new Nurse Manager for the N3W Patient Care Unit at The Reading Hospital and Medical Center.

In this position, Madzura coordinates clinical and administrative activities on the unit to provide high-quality care. She assures the provision of nursing care services in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team and has 24/7 accountability for planning and operations of the unit.

Madzura last served for two years as Director of the Medical/Surgical Telemetry Department at Maryvale Hospital in Phoenix, Ariz. She has also held positions as the Director of Acute Care for the Elderly at JFK Memorial Hospital in Indio, Calif., and Director of Inpatient Services at Tempe St. Luke’s Hospital in Tempe, Ariz.

Madzura earned her associate degree in nursing from Columbia College in Columbia, Mo., and her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Ariz. She also holds: an associate degree in business and travel administration from Columbia College; a bachelor’s degree in agriculture; a master’s degree in extension education; and a doctorate in practical arts, vocational, and technical education, all from the University of Missouri – Columbia.
