McLin Named Nurse Manager of The Reading Hospital’s Stroke Unit

Renee McLin, RN, MSN, Sinking Spring, is the new Nurse Manager of The Reading Hospital and Medical Center’s E1 Stroke Unit.

In this position, McLin coordinates clinical and administrative activities on the unit to provide high-quality patient care. She assures the provision of nursing care services in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team and has 24/7 accountability for planning and operations of the unit.

McLin has joined the Hospital staff in 1976 as a staff nurse, moving on to positions as a Quality Coordinator/Relief Supervisor, a Patient Care Coordinator, and as an Operations Resource Manager in Nursing.

McLin earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Albright College in Reading, Pa., and her master’s degree in nursing from Villanova University in Villanova, Pa.
