White Named Nurse Manager of The Rehabilitation Center at The Reading Hospital for Post-Acute Rehabilitation

Nancey White, RN, MSN, MBA, Pottstown, is the new Nurse Manager for The Rehabilitation Center at The Reading Hospital for Post-Acute Rehabilitation.

In this position, White coordinates clinical and administrative activities on the unit to assure the provision of high quality care. She assures the provision of nursing care services in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team and has around-the-clock accountability for planning and operations of The Rehabilitation Center.

White previously worked as a House Nursing Supervisor at the Hospital for Post-Acute Rehabilitation. She joined the Hospital in 2009.

Prior to this, White served as a House Nursing Supervisor at the Genesis Healthcare – Sanatoga Center in Pottstown, as a Case Manager/Acute Rehab Admissions Manager at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, and as both an Admissions Nurse Manager in Long-Term Care and Acting Assistant Nurse Manager at Temple Continuing Care Center, Philadelphia. She has also served as the Clinical Care Coordinator for the Intensive Care Nursery at Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia.

White earned her bachelor’s and master’s degree in nursing, as well as her master’s degree in business administration, from La Salle University, Philadelphia.
