Medical Explorers Information Session on October 17

Tuesday, October 11, 2011

The Reading Hospital Medical Explorers Post invites students in grades 9 through 12 and their parents to a special information session.

Developed by the Boy Scouts of America, Medical Explorers is a free program offered to high school students interested in learning about careers in health care. Beginning in November, The Reading Hospital Medical Center Explorers Post will meet seven consecutive first Tuesdays of each month, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. At each meeting, students will explore a different department of the Hospital and learn about careers in that department, as well as talk to and ask questions of medical professionals.

The information session about this program will be held on Monday, October 17, at 7 p.m., in The Reading Hospital and Medical Center's Thun/Janssen Auditorium. Registration is required. Anyone interested should call 610-988-HELP (4357) or visit www.readinghospital.org/explorers.
