New Vice President for Rehabilitation Services Named

Gregory Toot has been named Vice President for Rehabilitation Services for The Reading Hospital and Medical Center. In this newly created position, Toot will oversee all rehabilitation services, including those offered at The Reading Hospital for Post-Acute Rehabilitation, outpatient services at The Reading Hospital at Wyomissing Plaza, and inpatient services on The Reading Hospital and Medical Center’s West Reading campus.

Toot had previously served as Chief Executive Officer of the HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Mechanicsburg since 2005. Prior to that, he was the Director of Business Development at New England Rehabilitation Hospital of Portland in Portland, Maine, from 1998-2005. And from 1995 to 1998, he was the Administrator for Outpatient Rehabilitation Services at Southern Maine Medical Center Rehabilitation Services in Biddeford, Maine.

Toot earned a bachelor’s degree in health and fitness and a master‘s degree in cardiac rehabilitation from Springfield College in Springfield, Mass. He has served on the American Heart/American Stroke Association Central PA Board of Directors.
