Henry Named Medical Director of Surgical Robotics Program

John M. Henry, MD, has been named Medical Director of the Surgical Robotics Program at The Reading Hospital and Medical Center.  In this newly created position, Dr. Henry will provide leadership, supervision, and planning for the Program.  In addition, he will be responsible for developing long-term resource and program planning to assure success across all disciplines utilizing surgical robotic technology.

The Reading Hospital offers robotic surgery for urologic, gynecologic, and bariatric surgical procedures.

Also Chief of the Section of Urology at the Hospital, Dr. Henry is Board Certified in Urology, and is a graduate of Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Maryland.  He completed his residency at University of Pennsylvania Medical Center.

Dr. Henry is in private practice with the Center for Urologic Care in Wyomissing, PA. 

He is a member of the Berks County Medical Society, Reading Physicians Organization, Reading Health Partners, American Urologic Association, American Association for Clinical Urologists, Philadelphia Urologic Society, and Society of Laparoscopic Surgeons.
