The Reading Hospital Road Run

The Reading Hospital Road Run is back and better than ever! Sporting a new course, the Road Run will take place on Sunday, October 11, at 9.a.m., rain or shine. The Road Run starts at the Doctors Office Building on 7th Avenue in West Reading, and takes runners and walkers through the tree-lined streets of Wyomissing and grounds of the Reading Public Museum.

Registration for the 5K or 10K run/walk is $20 through October 2, and $25 from October 3-9. If participants do not register online by October 9, they must register on the day of the event. Registered runners and walkers of the 5K and 10K courses will receive a high-tech wicking shirt, vendor goody bag, and refreshments after the race.

Registration for the 1-mile Fun Run/Fitness Walk is $5; $15 if you'd like a wicking shirt. One mile participants receive the vendor goody bag and refreshments.

Not a runner? You can still support this important fundraising event by volunteering to assist in other ways. Volunteers are needed to monitor the course, register participants, staff the water stations, and help with parking. All registered volunteers will receive a free shirt for their support. Free parking is available in all Hospital Garages the day of the race.
