Duggan Named Nurse Manager of R3 East Patient Care Unit

Michelle Duggan, RN-BC, Sinking Spring, is the new Nurse Manager for The Reading Hospital and Medical Center’s R3 East Patient Care Unit.

In this position, Duggan coordinates clinical and administrative activities on the unit to provide high-quality care. She assures the provision of nursing care services in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team and has 24/7 accountability for planning and operations of the unit.

Duggan has served the Hospital since 2008 as an Assistant Nurse Manager. Prior to that, she was a Shift Supervisor and Team Leader with Mohave Mental Health Clinics, Inc., and served in staff positions with Desert Highlands Care Center and Silver Ridge Long-Term Care, in Kingman, Ariz.

Duggan earned her associate’s degree in nursing from Bergen Community College, Paramus, N.J., and is working toward her bachelor’s degree in nursing at Alvernia University, Reading.
