Hospital's Ertel Named one of Becker's ASC Review's Surgery Center Administrators to Know

“Becker's ASC Review” announced Pamela Ertel, Director of The Reading Hospital SurgiCenter at Spring Ridge, as one of its “Surgery Center Administrators to Know.”

The publication selected 112 administrators for the honor, which recognizes surgery center administrators who work tirelessly to please physicians, increase center profitability, keep staff morale high and provide a high-quality, cost-effective alternative to hospital care.   

These administrators go "above and beyond" to negotiate profitable contracts, achieve great accreditation results, keep center operations running smoothly and advocate for the surgery center setting on a local and national level. They are consistently praised by their employees for their hard work, commitment and positivity. Even in the face of immense changes in healthcare, they pitch in to help staff with the day-to-day operations of their centers, all the while keeping in mind their strategic direction and long-term plans. Individuals were selected for the list based on nominations, inclusion in “Becker's Healthcare” articles, meetings and news coverage, and research conducted by the editorial team.
