Latzgo Named Director of Legal Services at The Reading Hospital and Medical Center

Julie Latzgo, Birdsboro, has been named Director of Legal Services for The Reading Hospital and Medical Center.

In this position, Latzgo promotes and protect the interests and mission of the Hospital by: facilitating compliance with state and federal laws and regulations; managing the involvement of outside legal counsel on matters regarding decisions, contracts, and transactions; managing the contract review and approval processes; and promoting legal, ethical, and compliant conduct throughout the organization.

Latzgo previously served as Project Coordinator for Reading Anesthesia Associates, Ltd., West Reading, and Program & Business Development Associate at Synthes in West Chester, Pa. She has also served as Firm Administrator for William G. Koch and Associates, Wyomissing. From 1990-2007, she served in various capacities at Arrow International Inc., Reading, including Business Development Coordinator & Assistant to EVP/Global Business Development, Executive Business Administrator, and Legal Affairs Administrator/Compliance Coordinator.

Latzgo earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration from Albright College, Reading, Pa., and her paralegal certification from Villanova University, Villanova, Pa
