Grazier Named Director of Perioperative Services

Christel Grazier, Wyomissing, has been named Director of Perioperative Services for The Reading Hospital and Medical Center. In this position, she will oversee  PreAdmission Testing, Operating Room, Post-Anesthesia Care Unit, and outpatient SurgiCenters.

Grazier has spent most of her career at Altoona Regional Health System. From 2007-2011, she served as Administrative Director of Surgical Services. From 2006-2007, she was the Nurse Manager of the Altoona Hospital Operating Room. And from 1983 to 2006 she served as a Staff Nurse, first in the Maternity Unit, then in the Operating Room and Trauma Center.

Grazier hold’s a master’s degree in health and human services from Mount Aloysius College in Cresson, Pa., and a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Pennsylvania State University. She earned her registered nursing diploma from Altoona Hospital School of Nursing.
