Thomas Named Vice President of Human Resources at TRHMC

Mark Thomas has been named Vice President of Human Resources at The Reading Hospital and Medical Center.

Mr. Thomas comes to the Hospital most recently from Greater Baltimore Medical Center where he held the position of Vice President of Human Resources and Organizational Development.

Prior to this, Mr. Thomas served as Interim President of Human Resources at Regional West Health Services, Scotttsbluff, Neb. From 1998 to 2004, he held the position of Vice President of Human Resources at Alegent Health in Omaha, Neb., and from 1996-1998, Regional Vice President of Human Resources at the Franciscan Health System of the Ohio Valley in Cincinnati. He had also previously held the same senior position at Franciscan Health System in Dayton, Ohio, and Tulsa Regional Medical Center in Tulsa, Okla.

Mr. Thomas has a bachelor's degree in industrial relations from Rockhurst University in Kansas City, Mo., and a master's degree in industrial and organizational psychology from the University of Tulsa in Tulsa, Okla.
