Trupp Named Director of the Emergency Department

Michelle Trupp, Reading, has been named Director of the Emergency Department at The Reading Hospital and Medical Center. In this position, Trupp is responsible for all nursing personnel and operations within the department.

Prior to her promotion, Trupp served as the Nurse Manager of the Emergency Department (ED) from 2005-2009, and the Assistant Director since last year. Trupp was an Assistant Nurse Manager of the ED from 1990-2005, and a Staff Nurse in the ED from 1982-1990.

Trupp is a 1982 graduate of The Reading Hospital School of Nursing, now the School of Health Sciences Nursing Program. In 2009, she earned her bachelor of science degree in nursing from Immaculata University in Immaculata, Pa.
