First-Time Adult Volunteer Application Checklist
Step 1:
	Apply online
	Print out and send in two letters of recommendation to the Volunteer Services office.
Step 2:
	Interview with Volunteer Coordinator. You will be contacted for an interview when Volunteer Services has received your completed application and two letters of recommendation. If accepted into the program, following your interview you will be permitted to begin Steps 3-5.
Step 3:*
	FBI Fingerprinting and Child Abuse Clearance forms mailed to the appropriate government agencies. When you receive your clearance certificates back from the agencies, the Volunteer Services office will need copies of them. These additional clearances are ONLY required for those who are volunteering in the Child Development Center, Children's Health Center, Emergency Department, Women's Health Center, Detox Center, or Center for Mental Health. Please note that the Child Abuse Clearance may take up to 3 weeks to process.*
Step 4:
	Complete mandatory Tuberculin Skin Tests and Immunization Records.
Step 5: Attend volunteer orientation and sign a confidentiality form. Step 6: Purchase a volunteer uniform and obtain an ID badge.
