Reading Health Physician Network - Interventional Neuroradiology
Radiology bridges the gap between radiology and neurosurgery, bringing
minimally-invasive treatment options to patients diagnosed with
conditions including brain aneurysms and AVMs, strokes, nosebleeds, head
and neck tumors, and spinal conditions such as vascular malformations
and compression fractures from osteoporosis.
The Interventional Neuroradiology team works closely with neurosurgery,
neurology, medicine, vascular surgery, ENT, ophthalmology, and
orthopedic surgery to review each patient and to develop an individual
treatment plan. Our cooperative, interdisciplinary approach
ensures that patients receive the most comprehensive and informed care
available, right here in Berks County.
The Hospital’s Interventional Neuroradiology Department is located on the first floor of R-Building in a new, 14,000 square foot facility which will soon be home to the first Toshiba digital biplane unit in the country. The INR Department is located in the heart of the Hospital where our full complement of physicians, technologists, physician assistants, nurses, and support staff are dedicated to bringing the finest, most up to date interventional neuroradiology services and technology to our area.
