Interventional Radiology Department

The Interventional Radiology Department combines the skills of our board certified, specialty-trained radiologists and advanced image-guiding technology to treat conditions that in the past may have required traditional surgery.

Led by Dr. Robert Guay, the Hospital’s Interventional Radiology team brings diagnostic and therapeutic non-surgical treatments to patients with varicose veins and uterine fibroids, as well as a host of minimally-invasive procedures including angiography, balloon angioplasty, needle biopsy, stenting, embolizations, treatment of the trauma patient, and treatment of spine compression fractures.

Interventional Radiology is located on the first floor of R-Building in a new 14,000 square foot facility.  With a staff of over three dozen interventional radiology specialists, our patients are ensured the most advanced, personalized care, right here in Berks County.
