Shared Governance

Shared Governance is based on the belief that healthcare professionals working closely with patients are in the best position to make decisions related to clinical practice. It supports a framework where staff and managers work collaboratively to deliver multidimensional care. Within this framework, professional staff lead the decision-making process, and all clinical staff are empowered to participate.
