Chaplain ResidenciesThe CPE (Level II) Chaplain Residency

CPE (Level II) helps the Resident develop a coherent and well-integrated approach to the pastoral care of persons and development and management of pastoral care programs.

Completion of The Chaplain Residency program meets the clinical requirements for certification by the major chaplain certification bodies.
 Clinical Pastoral Education Program

Consideration is given to person interested in chaplaincy as a career, as well as those seeking a transitional year between seminary and congregational service, or those with related professional interests who will not necessarily seek chaplaincy certification.

The program awards a certificate of completion of a One Year Chaplain Residency Program.

Minimum Requirements for Admission

Prerequisite: Completion of at least one unit of CPE (Level I).

Other Requirements for Admission

Those candidates to whom we offer admission must pass a background check and drug screen before we finalize and offer of placement.
