Reading Health System Foundation Names Director of Development

Reading Health System Foundation has named Rachael Scheffler as Director of Development. Rachael has more than 10 years of experience in fundraising and healthcare. At Reading Health System Foundation, she will be responsible for supporting aspects of the Foundation's fundraising program that include annual, major and planned giving, donor events and special fundraising initiatives. Rachael will also focus on best practices around donor relations and stewardship activities for gifts received by the Foundation.

Prior to joining the Foundation, Rachael served as Director of Development at Lehigh Valley Health Network, Office of Philanthropy. She also served as Director, Major Gifts and Director, Stewardship at Lehigh Valley Health Network, Office of Philanthropy.

Rachael earned her MBA from DeSales University in 2012 and her BA in Communications from DeSales University in 2005. She is also a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), a member of the Professional Women Healthcare (PWH) organization and serves as a member of the adjunct faculty at DeSales University in the business department.
