Reading Health Announces CenteringPregnancy Achieved Official Site Approval

CenteringPregnancy is a new way that the Women's Health Center provides prenatal care, taking it out of examination rooms and putting it into a friendly group setting. Designed to make the most of prenatal appointments, improve the quality of care, and improve birth outcomes, Centering is a great way for pregnant women and their families to take an active part in their prenatal care. It combines health assessment, interactive learning, and community building, all within a group of eight to twelve women at the same stage in pregnancy. Participants will benefit from 20 hours of care from their provider and increased knowledge and confidence about their pregnancy.

Group sessions are held in the Centering Room, located at Reading Hospital. For more information, call the Women's Health Center at 484-628-9797.
