Could you be a candidate for the newest technique in hip replacement surgery or is the traditional approach your best option? Spend an evening with Reading Hospital Joint Care Center experts who will present “The Latest Advancements in Joint Replacement Surgery.”
Our panel of specialists will address all aspects of joint replacement including the anterior approach to hip replacement using the hana® table – a table specifically designed to position the patient optimally during the hip replacement surgery. Surgeons at the Joint Care Center offer this minimally invasive technique, which spares muscle and tissue, resulting in less pain, a quicker recovery, and improved mobility. They will also discuss the muscle sparing total knee approaches and new implants, designs and techniques offered by the experienced team at Reading Hospital. Participating in the event are John Casey, MD; Stephen Longenecker, MD; Kevin Terefenko, MD; and Lynn Burkett, RN, BSN, MBA, ONC.
