Night call responsibilities vary depending on your year of residency. You will be responsible for Family Medicine inpatients, Family Health Care Center patients, and pediatric inpatients.

We have recently instituted a night shift (night float) system for interns to maximize educational experiences and clinical care while ensuring compliance with changing ACGME requirements. Interns will each take approximately five, 2-week night float rotations during the year, with an exceedingly limited amount of call responsibilities during the other 42 weeks of the year.

Second and third-year residents have call that averages every 10 to 12 nights.
