Residency Programs

We understand your professional goals and personal needs.

As a resident at Reading Hospital, you’ll become the physician you want to be—without feeling devalued in the process. Our philosophy is to treat every resident as a human being first.

We know what you’re going through, especially the personal challenges and dilemmas that you face. The commitment you are about to make will seriously affect your life and we want you to know that, here, you can do your residency without sacrificing your sanity.

Yes, you’ll be able to actually go to a movie in the evening. No, you won’t be worked to a frazzle so there’s nothing left for your family. But you’ll still gain a wealth of experience and knowledge. In other words, we treat you well so you can learn well.
