CME Credit Transcripts
If you have been a registered participant in a CME activity at Reading Hospital, you may download a detailed transcript of your CME activities and credits earned for a specified period of time.
Credits are archived for a six-year period in compliance with ACCME requirements. Just click on the My Transcript link and follow the simple instructions to download a transcript. If you are creating a password for the first time it may take up to 48 hours for your online transcript to be available.
Mission & Purpose
The Continuing Medical Education mission at Reading Hospital is to:
- To identify and fulfill education needs of our physicians
- To increase physician competence and performance, thereby improving patient outcomes
- To design, implement, manage and evaluate quality continuing medical education programs
All medicine-related disciplines including (but not limited to):
- Emergency Medicine
- Family and Community Medicine
- Internal Medicine
- Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Pathology, Pediatrics
- Quality Improvement
- Risk Management
- Patient Safety
- Infectious Diseases
The principal audience is the medical staff of Reading Hospital, its affiliates, and its encompassing service areas and communities.
Other medical professionals (e.g., psychologists, therapists, nurses, and technical assistants) while not the primary targeted area, are considered as part of inter-professional education.
Activities that will inform, update and educate the target audience utilizing independent presentations, departmental grand rounds, case conferences, specialty-focused seminars, symposiums, and departmental and/or multi-discipline-focused morbidity and mortality conferences. Activities include both live and enduring materials.
- Include improvements in competence, performance, or patient outcomes
- Identify needs for future Continuing Medical Education Activities
- Align with the Quality Improvement goals of the hospital
By doing so, the CME program mission serves to support the overall mission of Reading Hospital and its staff, that is, to provide compassionate, accessible, high quality, cost-effective health care to the community; to promote health; to educate healthcare professionals; to participate in appropriate clinical research.
Reading Hospital is accredited by Pennsylvania Medical Society to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
