The Reading Hospital and Medical Center (TRHMC) strives to provide the highest level of care to the communities it serves.  In addition to offering state-of-the-art care, the health system has created an environment that fosters a spirit of clinical inquiry and     new discovery.   Based on the need of our community, TRHMC’s clinician scientists participate in cutting edge research to bring new diagnostic tests and therapies to the people we serve.  Patient safety is always our first priority.

TRHMC’s Research Staff supports studies developed by our investigators, as well as collaborative studies between TRHMC and our University and Industry partners.

David L. George, MD, MBA, Vice President of Academic Affairs and Chief Academic Officer of The Reading Hospital and Medical Center, provides strategic oversight for academic clinical research which encompasses the Clinical Trials Office and Research Administration.  Dr. George also focuses on strengthening Reading Hospital’s position regionally and nationally in areas of education and research.
